Nice looking setup there.
Current bikes:
1993 Honda NSR 250 SP
1994 Suzuki RGV 250 RR SP
1993 Yamaha Seca II

With the higher pegs you will be less likely to drag them.....but if you do happen to low side with fixed pegs they are nice since they will support the bike during the slide and grind away instead of having potentialy more expensive damage.

Common sense in not very common.

The rod is 9" long.  Also, for clarification, you only need one standard peg (for the right side) and I took the brake pedal and cut it down about an inch, and drilled it and put the CFM tip on it, so it looks the same as the shift side.

The whole set up was around $300.
