First Happy New Years :)

OK, so it's new years day and I want to ride!... but my battery is dead (charged it and tested it etc.), and of course the Suzuki dealership is closed.

The people on the phone at Walmart have no clue if they have the right battery... so I figure I'll just go there with my measuring tape and buy whatever 12 Volt I can find that is a similar size and will fit in my GS.

Is there any danger to just getting any old 12V moto battery that fits?

(I already read up on the ES12BS and YB10L-A2.  This is assuming they don't have either.)

thnx!

sucks that you couldn't get the battery to work...i have one from walmart...the size is the same but the overflow valve was on the wrong side. i end it up rerouting the hose. i'm not sure if there's any other that may work out better. but everything else is a ok.

one side note: walmart will charge you extra $5 if you don't bring a dead battery you can exchange with.
My hunch was right...Pandy is the biggest Post Whore!
