OK fine ... cover the damn thing ... see if I care ...
I dunno maybe its supposed to get some funky ass reading from that leading trigger and if it doesn't it might get confused and recognise the next one instead and the next one it might fire ... and that might be 1/2 way up the compression stroke on the other Cyl ... I dunno ... we got wasted spark anyway ... and if that arrives 1/2 a cycle late its 1/2 way in the intake stroke ... that might set the mix in the carb throat on fire ... so now we got detonation and carb fire ... OK exaggeration ... those extra tabs do somehitng ... I have seen those on too many bikes for them to be dummies.
