Have a '96 GSXR 750 USD on my '91 race GS
Have a '92 GSXR 750 USD on my '89 street GS
Gave my '96 GSX 600 front end to my son for his '96 GS

All were simple and straight forward.

What do most complete front ends off these bikes cost?  Eg, what does a '96 GSXR600 front end cost?  I think I remember Bryce (ignoreance on here) said he paid 750 for a complete front end, but that was EVERYTHING.  Is that reasonable for a front end?

I have a 2001 gsxr 1000 frontend on my current racebike.
I'm building a new racebike with the 03/04 gsxr 1000 frontend.
Bought it off Ebay for $600 (triples/forks/calipers/axle).
Frontwheels are plentyful (cheap). You might get a wheel with rotors.
Older frontends (00/01/02) are pretty cheap.

I press out the stock steering stems and use the GS stem/bearings.
The bottom of the GS stem needs to be shimmed to fit the larger hole on the gsxr triple. The 03/04 was a good tight fit without any mods  :o
The top needs a spacer that fits the tip of the GS stem and the hole in the triple clamp. It's pretty simple.

Conventional Katana front ends are the cheapest way to go. Less than $100 you can get a complete front end. The 03/04 GSXR with the radial brakes are probably going to be the most expensive since everyone wants to install them on their bike.

I had been looking at the different GSXR's front end and comparing them to what will fit on my TLR. After seeing Bob's pics (Bob, I can post/host them if you want) and how easy they are to install, the search for a trick front end continues.

looking for Kat750 front end myself, would seem the Kat600 front end even being 41mm is smaller inside diameter as my gold emulators wont fit in them but the 750 GE part numbers are the same for the GS500, go figure, the K600 and 750 still use same calipers if im not mistaken, so i just need Forks, complete tree and Front rim with rotors, anyone have that laying around?

Paid $600 for the '96 front end, $500 for the '92 front end.  Both came with triples, tubes, fender, front wheel, rotors, calipers, steel lines, clip ons and master cylinder.  The '96 came with a race tire (new) and both front ends had already had the steering stem modified.

The '96 GSX 600 front end was $250 for the whole shot (minus the front wheel, which swaps over from the GS) , but the stem hadn't been modified yet.

They are out there.

yeah, but only paid 400$ for my race ready GS with Gobs of extra's , 17$ shipped for the Kat 6 front calipers, lines, and Master cyl.  dont need much more to complete another front end
2-500 for just a front end, just no way. :?

Keep watching ebay. I just got another Kat triple yesterday for $5. I have watched forks close for $35. Rotors have been going for a little more recently, watched a pair that did not sell the other day with an opening bid of $20.
