Hey,
On my way to class this morning I noticed right away that my bike felt funny. The handling was very sloppy and unresponsive, on my way home I stopped to put some air in it  and realized it was completely empty!  :o After getting it on the centerstand I noticed a nail in the center tred. Its in @ a slight angle so I'm wondering if I can still put a plug in it. Plus any tips would be gerat cuz I've never attempted plugging a tire before. I'll try to post a pic later on.

Thanks,
Ash

Tube it ... put a tyoooooobe in it... Then take it off and save the tube ... use it next time you get a nail.

Tube it, like a dirtbike or bicycle tire. go to your local dealership and buy tubing.

How much tread is left on the tire... if it's nearly brand new You might consider plugging it...(There are a few message strings on this subject...search a little and you can find some lengthy discussions on it.).

if the tire is half done or so I'd just replace it...

The type of plug I am talking about is done from the inside of the tire....

Ok I bought a seven dollar plug kit from Walmart. I'll give it a try tomorrow. Hopefully it will be a simple fix w/ little to no drama. Thanks for the advice/ personal experiences. I'm gonna go to the bathroom.
