Need help in SF Bay area!

I just moved to Oakland and I haven't made any friends yet. Since I know that gstwinners are a stand up group of people- I need to ask a favor. My GS broke down in berkeley, off Shattuck, and I was wondering if anyone in the area could do me a solid and help me, if you have a truck, move it to my apartment by lake merritt. I know this is a lot to ask, but I'll be indebted and you'll make a new gs friend

too bad im in IA right now. If i was in sac, i would have driven down and towed you over.

Maybe scratch can give you a hand.. im not sure who else is in the bay area..

Thanks! Maybe I won't need any help after all. I think I can rent a uhaul trailer for my car- I just need to build a ramp.

I wouldn't want to make you cancel your date at Mearle's on Mooney anyway. Just kidding. I grew up in Porterville and wanted to give a shot out to my peeps in the Visa. Maybe I'll set up a weekend and invite people from tulare county to stay at my place and have a ride on highway one (after I fix the bike that is). You guys need to get out of the valley as often as possible :p .

I live in berkeley and had to have by bike brought up from burlingame when i injured my knee. I posted a "help me" thread and a guy with truck, ramp, and straps came to my rescue.

you should come ride w/ us some time.

So far, there are only 2 of us forced to live 50-60 miles from some absolutely wonderful rides...Myself and Daniely. We both go to COS, and in the summer I'll frequent Mearle's. Did you know it recently caught fire and had to be shut down for the greater part of a year? Opened this fall about the same time as COS's semester swung around again.

I'm planning on getting out, watch for a post in O/T...I'll be in Socal before this year is out...
