I used mine to make a loading ramp!

I was also considering using it as a flyscreen.  It's too ugly but about the right size.
I came here to kick @$$ or chew bubblegum...and it looks like I'm all out of bubblegum.

uhhhh, not sure what you are planning on loading with that ramp, but that bracket will not carry much weight.
Common sense in not very common.

It worked fine for the bike today... It doesn't have to hold much weight because it is only a lip.  The bracket itself actually pretty strong- it was ment to unite two 6x2 beams at a 45 degree angle when building houses.

Suprised it held. I know what it is, that is why I said that. Made by Simpson Strong-Tie.

This board never stops amazing me.  I hope everyone here realizes that dgyver just pulled out the manufacturer of a random bracket in a picture.

Ingenious!

How about using it to keep the dirt from collecting in that little cup on the front of the swingarm? Anybody else have that problem, luggin' around an extra pound of dirt? What do/does/did anybody do about it? Should I start a different thread?
The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?
