Last night it was raining and I dropped my GS while putting it on its centerstand.  I righted it about 10 sec later.  Checked the oil.  Waited 30 min and then drove it about 2 blocks.  It may have been the cold start+cold weather+ rain, but it felt and sounded a bit funky.  What kinds of parts could I have damaged during the drop (besides the right front brake lever, which I bent)

thanks,

It is scuffed, but may have been scuffed from two weeks ago, when i crashed.  I'll check the severity of the damage later.

I had my GS tipped a couple of times and both times it seemed a bit funky in how it ran for a day or so then everything was back to normal.  Since it fell on your right then i assume the clutch and throttle weren't involved.  And like you mentioned...the GS can be a bit tempermental in a cold wet environment  (kept mine outdoors with a cover so i know...)  See how it rides over the next couple of days.  Should be ok.  Hey...i'm an optimist.  My bike has been surrounded by snow for the last week and been unridden the week before due to the friggin arctic weather we've been having here.  2 weeks without riding and i'm  praying the battery doesn't act up.  I can ride generally when the temp. is in the mid 20's or higher.  Last couple of weeks the temps have been in the teens or single digits.  I won't even bother trying to start her up.  But generally..cold weather and moisture does not make for a happy bike. Unless of course it's one of these:
