Hey,
I've been researching the BT-96 and I'm wondering if they would be too short lived for my touring/ around town purposes? I'd hope to get 7-10k out of a rear tire. Any quick feed back is awsome.

After a hour or so of research it seems they are a friggin race tire.   Hopefully I'll be out bid. Otherwise I'm gonna have one bad ass tire out back that prob. wont be around long.

Its not gonna last like a Bt45, but due to the "low HP" from the GS I bet you could get 5-7k out of it under street use.

I've been out bid so its all good. If anyone wants to bid its @ $51 right now. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4522527778&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEBI%3AIT Could be a good deal for a racer maybe.

I have been watching that auction. I wasn't going to leave you hanging, eventhough I still have several rears. The last front I had lasted about 300 miles, but then I am hard on brakes. The rears do last a good bit longer.
Common sense in not very common.

Quote from: Frostdude...that's a FRONT tire...
If you are referring to the auction, it is a rear. The front has a groove down the center.
