Not me but that is a cool pic, Ive never seen a GS at that angle before.

it's someone that's selling a video of himself riding deals gap on a 01 gs500.
I don't think I'd be interested in buying the video, I have my own fond memories of Deals Gap on a GS  :)

Just wondered if maybe it was someone here.

the coolest part of the pic is if you look close, you can see the sidestand sparking on the pavement  (it was bigger I had to re-size it to get it to fit)

Impressive! Look, he's not hanging off, you can tell he's on the gas because his front forks aren't even partially compressed, that way he's maximizing ground clearance, but he's still going fast enough to get that GS heeled over and scrape the sidestand.
The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?

rrbarna

Hey old friends!  How's everyone - long time no see!  Yeah, I sold my good 'ol GS last winter and moved to an '03 R6 for a short time before settling with an '01 VFR.  I miss my little GS, but it wasn't able to get me out of trouble fast enough  :nono:

I was about to throw out the video since I made one too many copies, but figured somone out there might want it.  Anyway, I just checked, it's 1:01:35 in length with lots of audible tire chirping and peg srapin'.  Even a couple close calls :)

I've often thought about wearing racing leathers, but thought it might look silly on a medium size bike, especially a one piece outfit. And no I'm not a fat porker   It's just if you're wearing a racing outfit, then, really, you gotta race haven't you? What do you reckon?
:dunno:

He he, not quite, It's just I already scalped my knees and since I still ride in jeans and a Tourmaster Lite jacket I am pretty concerned about leaning the bike on tight turns, specially because there's a lot of pedestrian lines, and construction rubbles and debris, etc., where I usually ride...

Me too, I am just looking to a more civilian look, but still protect myself...
