Hey guys, for those of you that don't remember or didn't know (probably all of you, heh) I put my bike in the shop a few months ago. It JUST got finished. The dealerships excuse? One of the parts has been on back order from Japan because it's out of season.  My brother's a mechanic (though not for motorcycles) and he says, when a vehicle is immobile becuase of needed parts, they find those parts somewhere and have them shipped asap.  Was the dealership actually unable to get the heatshields for my bike, or are they just giving me the run-around?  :dunno:

What heatshields?  Something that goes inside the fairing?

It's semi believeably being that this is the F's first model year... not alot of extra parts made for non-production line use... (First model year woes..)

On the other hand some dealers parts departments suck....where I go it's gotten alot better- Used to be crappy ( some of the lazy guys are gone..).

Anyway....
When the 2nd Amendment is lost, the rest will soon follow.
