Hi, well I did it (thanks to all your help) 3 mods on my new GS500F .....

1st mod was the 15t sprocket....
Now the bike at that time was completely stock...
The bike reved a lot higher, but was slower on all gears around to 10   km/h execpt the 6th, for example on the 5th I could get the bike to 160km/h now it wouldn't go over 150 even at 9000rpms, but on the 6th I could get more easily more top speed. (keep in mind I am at 250lbs)
Also the back weal felt a lot like spinning and not transfering all its power to the street ........ To tell you the truth I was pretty dissapointed at that time witht this mod...

2d mod was a 140/70 back tire ...
And suddenly the 15t sprocket was transferring power to the street a lot beter, but it felt strange, lots havier and the agility is gone...
On the 130 the bike felt a lot like a scooter, and could corner like crazy (that is forever gone), But it looks really bad (like you are riding a bicycle) and it makes your bike really sensitive to crosswinds.
A friend of mine has a Katana 600 and he tried my bike and was suprised at how more sensitive it was to crosswinds compared to his, at first I thought it was weight, but that didn't made much sense, so it turns out its the rear tire size .......... ( I now hate I didn't go directly to the 150/60)

3d and last was a rear shock from a Bandit... Now in difference to what is in Pablos's site this one has the dial on the top like the original GS but is 1/2 inch taller ....
This one I did myself, Now that turned out to be more of a pain than what I expected. Unfortunately the Suzuki seems to have several little issues manufacturing wise.. Firstly the poor guy that changed the rear tire had to hammer on the centre bolt for 20 mins to get it through as one of the holes was not alligned and just a bit smaller ......  Also when I changed the shock the linkages also wouldn't align, one was further to the right than the other so had to use lots of strength to get it throu ....
The bike also became a bit higher so I also now have the problem with the side stant, but I have found a junk shop with lots of older bike parts and will look for a longer one there ...... So with everything on I went for a ride and guess what, I now have a new bike that feels and handles like a real superbike (except the power of' course), It sits more upright it turns nicely although I haven't pusshed the new tire too much just yet but the strange feeling I first had with the new tire is gone, and the stability with crosswinds is gteatly improved.

This feels now like a great bike, all I need now is 10Hp's more anyone has any spare ...?

Thanks for listening
