no offense to the guy you got it from, but that's the sketchiest story i've ever heard.

Daniely

PETE: It's four in the funking morning!

SHAUN: It's Saturday!

PETE: No, it's not. It's funking Sunday. And I've got to go to funking work in four funking hours 'cos every other funker in my funking department is funking ill! Now can you see why I'm SO FUNKING ANGRY?

ED: Funk, yeah!

If the tank is un locked ... I will open the lock mechanism, take the key out, put it together with the other 1/2 and Put the 2 pieces in a manual key cutting machine and cut a key ... most likely will work ... did it on my GS a long time ago ...
Cool.

If you are going to the Stealer, then look in the Manual that came with the bike. Alot of times you can find a page with a key number. that will let the dealership make a key for you.

Well, i just said fug it and went with orignial honda parts, rather than those, mainly cause i didnt get a spare and dude seemed a little shady. So anyways, $150 out the door for ignition, gas cap, and seat lock keys, plus the ignition assembly. Not to bad, they had to order it though, should have it by friday. Thanks for all the input.
