Are the solo seat cowls wishful thinking?

Is anybody actually making these now? :dunno:  I see a lot of posts about them, but never see them getting done. I am really itching for one for my '94. Please someone with the capabilty, help us out?!

The braada (Jim) one may eventually become a reality....when he started developing the cowls for the katana, it took a few months to get it perfected.....since then he has developed 2 more cowls for the katana....his business has become more than just a hobby in the last year and a half....

.....Jim is currently working on a few projects for the katanas.....but when he gets done, he will look into developing a cowl for the GS.....don't count on a CF cowl from him.....he creates fiberglass shells that will mount over the rear of the stock seat....somebody else (sorry, I can't remember the ID) may create a CF cowl possibly in the summertime.....but he's  not associated with Braada....

.....so basically if you want one today.....you'll have to get a JamesG solo seat.....otherwise you're going to have to wait awhile....Devon

i don't care what they are made of as long as they hold up and look good. i just want to cover the seat.   maybe i'll just spray paint a garbage bag and throw it over it.  :lol:

there hasnt been anything made yet. everyone says they are busy at the time but will get to it in the next 50 years..  GeeP said he can make the CF/Kevlar ones but not till spring..  thats the one i want

i just want something. i think everyone should just quit their jobs and make the cowls.  :lol: i want one so bad. if only i were more talented?

ya man. i'd do it if i had the knowledge.. i dont even know how one attaches a cowl to the seat.  never saw one that was off the bike..

see......I was just trying to gauge what kind of interest there was for Braada to look into doing this......it's the same with any business....they won't waste the time developing something if there isn't a sufficient amount of people willing to buy it....

.....if Braada does develop, I don't know what model he will make a cowl for.....since there are a lot more 89-00 bikes I would think he would start there.....but there was also a lot of interest for the 01+ models too.....

.....his cowls are definately high quality....besides most here have waited this long (years and years)......what's so bad about a few more months....(I know so many with BK disease.....your way, right away....)
