I had a request for a how to change your air filter page.  it sounds like a good idea so I'm asking anybody with a digital camera and an air filter to change -take photos to document the procedure!  Write up a set of simple directions and I'll put it on GStwin.com with a photo of you as the author!

If you are willing to do it reply here.  You'll probably need 6 to 10 photos -at least that's my guess, the more the better.
There is more to this site than a message board.  Check out http://www.gstwin.com

On the 2002 you don't need photos.
Take off seat.
Remove two bolts that hold down tank.
Lift tank be careful not to pull off the fuel hoses.
You should have enough clearance, without removing the fuel hoses.
Stick a tennis ball or some other ball under one side of the tank to keep it up.  Use a stubby or offset screwdriver to remove the four screws that hold down the air filter.
Remove old filter.
Put in new filter, watch the direction of the arrow, should point forward.
Screw in the four screws that hold down the filter.
Remove tennis ball, save for next time.
Put in the two bolts that hold the tank.
Put back the seat.
Make zoom for 7,500 miles.
In 7,500 miles do the same as above. :thumb:
