Hey everyone, just got out of the military, and just got a devorce, so I bought a 95' GS500, needless to say, it's had quite few owners I knew what I was getting myself into when I bought the bike, quite a fixer-uper,  I bought new parts for the carb, and tac-cable few odd's and ends...well...I've yet to ride it because of the carb not work'n right and a gasket from the old tac-cable leaking, I have it running now and the time I spend on it, takes my mind off of other things,  it's a great hobbie and I'm quite addicted to it now, my bro has a gsxr 600 and thats how I ended up with my 500, can't wait to ride this summer, never rode a  bike before, other than dirtbike, any suggestions from the vets out here they might have for a newbie? Thanks in Advance, any advice will help. haha

.....use that GI Bill.....I've got another year and a half and I'll be done with mine....are you officially out.....or on terminal leave.....I ask because if still on terminal leave you can dump an additional $600 into the GI bill, and get back an extra $150/mo for 36 mo.....

....you've got a good first bike that won't strain your wallet....enjoy it!!!
PETE: It's four in the funking morning!

SHAUN: It's Saturday!

PETE: No, it's not. It's funking Sunday. And I've got to go to funking work in four funking hours 'cos every other funker in my funking department is funking ill! Now can you see why I'm SO FUNKING ANGRY?

ED: Funk, yeah!

MSF, yes! Do a search on the posts. Maybe one of the admins will give a direct link to their national site. Motorcycle Safety Foundation has links for almost every state. Excellent training. Price varies widely from state to state.
