I had an associate of mine make these for my GS. After dropping my GS, the engine case and suzuki sticker were scratched so I decided to replace the stickers. I wanted something different and carbon fiber to match my decals and parts. These are not cheap since they are custom made and good vinyl material. They also have really strong adhesive backing and are domes/raised so it's not a flat sticker. Just wanted to know if anyone else was interested so maybe I can ask him for a group deal.

ummm....they look nice, but....aren't the originals made of metal that is glued on?

....won't stickers just melt after the engine gets up to temp? or is there something I'm missing here?

Not sure if the originals were made of metal. When I took them off it felt flimsy, maybe thin aluminum if metal. Someone must know here?

I don't think the material will melt but not sure about the adhesive he used. You can always buy high temp glue and put it on that way.

I think he can do the 'S' in different colors but I have to ask since I requested mine in red.

Also remember the price will be for a pair for boths sides of the bike.
I want to see how many would be interested before I ask him for prices so chime in if you want a pair.

I have new contact emblems for my rework project.  These would look out of place on my project because I am going for the factory fresh look. For a custom paint job or an '04 it would be just super.

Depends on how much they are, I need one for the right side and then a matching one for the left, naturally. I have duct tape on it now in place of where the old sticker used to be. And I'd need a yellow S. I could probably pay like 10 bucks a piece or maybe a little more.

The old cover, right side at least, is plastic I'm pretty sure because it's glued on with a couple small patches of rubber cement and maybe a little something around the edges (it felt like rubber cement). Mine rubbed off in my crash and that's what was left. OEM is very cheap   .

Ok want to clear up a couple of things I saw.  The stock emblems are thin sheet aluminum that has a dome shape to them.  I reglued one of mine back on with some weather strip adhesive and it held all summer.  I might be interested in a set of blue, Ive got a lot of crap on the burner right now so thats a big maybe.
