SHAUN: It's Saturday!

PETE: No, it's not. It's funking Sunday. And I've got to go to funking work in four funking hours 'cos every other funker in my funking department is funking ill! Now can you see why I'm SO FUNKING ANGRY?

ED: Funk, yeah!

Good man!

Friend of mine is replacing her sv lights with gsxr lights.  Since they look better than mine, and mine are scraped up, i want to give it a go :)

Oh I thought you were buying some thats why I worded like that.  Heck they should work, probley plug right in.

Yes, the SV lights will bolt up. They share the same type mounts. The wiring connections are different.
Common sense in not very common.

JCH

how difficult will it be to make the connections work?  I have relative experience at splicing wires so I'm not concerned about that.

Is this worth doing?

Easy to do the splicing. The GS uses common round push-on connectors found at any auto parts store. From what I remember, the SV has a single square 2-pole connector (which is the same as the TL and most GSXR's).

I think the SV signals look better than the stock GS. They have shorter stalks but the overall depth of the lens part is longer. Nothing drastic. I have some pics at home of Meighan's bike when she had put the ones on hers that I sent her, before her last wreck.

I've got the front half of the bike done....gotta go to the store to buy some nuts and washers for the rear of the bike....pretty easy to do....I'll post a how-to tonight with pics....
