what type of paint did you use to repaint your exhaust?  also, did you sandblast it?  and getting back on topic, soon to be wileyco exhaust (no restrictor please srinath...matt), but currently rusty stock. :nono:

I used some 1200(?) degree spray paint that my dad had sitting around in the basement.  I didn't sandblast it, but I did take a wire wheel to all the rusty spots.  I'm not sure how well it will hold up.  If it holds up well great, if not I may take it somewhere to be sandblasted next time.  Also, check out John's DIY exauhst painting info at the bottom of the page.

i got a stock exhaust on it, and a gxsr 1000 mid pipe and can in my garage waiting till i find someone to fit it on to my 04 500f.

Ha ha ... very subtle ... Its comming ... BTW stevemac ... you are waiting for clip on's too ... the powder coaters had loss of power (Yea in my third world state of NC every time there is any wind ... we lose power ) so today became tommorow ... rest of flanges were dropped off at USPS an hour ago, some more are going tommorow morning ... right after the people I PM'ed respond ... and the clip on's and others will go tommorow night ...
