Gauge cover and "bracket" (dash light hold

Are these interchangeable between 2002 and 2004?  In parts diagrams the only difference seems to be the cover shows square shaped illumination bulb spaces.  whereas the 2002 has round  I think the 2004 is black rather than silver.  Also---the 2004 are almost half the price!  Same for other parts I  was looking up, like master cylinders.  2004 parts are cheaper than 2002.
