What type of luggage you after?

My guess is you're interested in something different from a tank bag or tail pack as New Enough seems to be offering a lot of these at relatively decent prices.  (For grins I visited Dennis Kirk, Motorcycle Accessories Warehouse, and Competition Accessories and New Enough seems to beat them on common articles.)

But if you're looking for saddle bags or larger bags, I agree, there aren't any obvious deals.  Guess we need to look harder.

tonker.com has some good deals if you know the coupons.  They have a Joe Rocket sale - Enter JOE ROCKET in the coupon area at check out.  Ricks Rides, BAB and Volusia are others.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a bag that fits well with the GS500?  I'm looking for something the size/shape of a duffel bag.  I tried strapping my gym bag to the back one day and by the time I got where I was going, the bag was hanging halfway off of the bike .... not good.  haha.  I obviously didn't strap it down well enough.

I'd second that recommendation for tonker.com. I was visiting a friend in Ft. Lauderdale and decided to rent a Buell. Dropped by tonker's office down there and picked up a new helmet to ride with - their prices were great and they were quite friendly.

I don't remember exactly (it was 4 years ago) but probably around $150 for just the saddlebags.  They constitute one of the few items that I actually bought from the display at the dealer.  :o

Hey, I had only been riding a year, and there was no GStwin, and ... and ... sigh.
