Startup Problems after Long Storage

What is the most likely cause of a not being able to start up after my bike has been untouched for about 4 months.

#1 reason: battery
#1.2a: Fuel turning to varnish clogging all the jets in the carburetor.
The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?

Assuming that it is turning over -

No fuel in the float bowls - put in prime

Bad fuel in the float bowls - replace
