Hey i was wondering if anyone else has dropped their 500? I have lowered my 04 500f last night it is bout 2in. off the ground from the bottom of the plastics. I am going to post pics up later when i get a chance to after work. Also for everyone if you are looking for some clip-ons, i had installed some 87 vfr 700 clip-ons only down side to that is the tubes are not long enough for the grips about and inch to short or 3/4 of an inch but they fit on there. I am going to post pics of the clip-ons that i got from a good friend that just gave them to me. Thanks Anthony, had to say that he saved me a $150  .

SHAUN: It's Saturday!

PETE: No, it's not. It's funking Sunday. And I've got to go to funking work in four funking hours 'cos every other funker in my funking department is funking ill! Now can you see why I'm SO FUNKING ANGRY?

What color is she gonna be? Not too bad for camera phone pics. Mine are way worse.

I think it looks pretty good. How much has the lowering affected the ride quality? Did you need to stiffen up the suspension so you don't bottom out or is there still enough clearence?
Richard died in a motorcycle accident that was at no fault of his own.  We lost a good friend and good member of this board.  Though Rich may be gone, his legacy will live on here.

MY BIKE IS GOING TO BE PAINTED POLY BLUE. ALSO I AM 5'11 WITH LONG LEGS SO LOWERING DIDN'T NEED TO BE DONE FOR ME TO RIDE. THE RIDE IS ALRIGHT, I DIDN'T STIFFEN UP THE SUPENSION BUT DOES NEED TO BE A LITTLE MORE STIFF.  I AM THINKING ABOUT GO TO THE DRAG STRIP AND SEEING WHAT EFFECT IT MADE ON THE BIKE IN 1/4 MI. TIMES. BUT I AM GOING TO RAISE IT UP SOME MORE. IT IS TO LOW FOR ME TO LIKE RIDING CAUSE THE FACT IN SLOW TURNS THEY ARE HARDER TO TURN. MY OPINION FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS TO DO SOMETHING FOR THEIR BIKE. YOU MIGHT WANT TO GO AND GET SOME GSXR DOG BONES AND GO DOWN TO THE MIDDLE LINK. I HAD THAT 2 DAYS AGO AND IT WAS A LOT MORE FUN RIDING. I WAS LOOSING SOME FRIENDS ON THE BIGGER BIKES CAUSE I CAN LEAN INTO THE TURNS EASIER. OH YEA IF U WANT LOOK AND SEE IF U CAN FIND SOME CLIP-ONS I PUT ON A PAIR OF VFR CLIP-ONS. BUT MY SUGGESTION TO EVERYONE IF YOU WANT TO LOWER IT LIKE  THAT DON'T TRY TO GO RIDING LIKE YOU WOULD NORMALY DO AT STOCK HEIGHT. OH AND SORRY ABOUT THE CAPS I AM AT WORK.
