I guess that you could call it a pump in that the fuel flow is controlled via vacuum stimuli (at least in ON and RES positions), although I think mother nature's everpresent force of gravity really gets the credit for the "pump."  This is why I sometimes cruise eBay looking for stupid sellers...

Yea like a radiator cap for a 1967 VW beetle, or call a car dealer and ask the for a fender off a 1991 Honda nitehawk ... or a radiator fax for a GS300 ... though that could backfire if you call a lexus dealer ... till you say its a suzuki ... and hang up ...
Cool.

No wonder I ran out of gas.  My fuel pump was hooked up backwards.

Every zero you add to the tolerance adds a zero to the price.

If the product "fails" will the product liability insurance pay for the "failure" until it turns 18?

Hey John...if hooked up right gets gas in your carbs, then hooking the pump backwards would get carbs in your gas...that's bad  :nono:

The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.
