hey guys, I got up this morning and seen the temperture was great, soo i got to work and started spraying for my first time. Everything came out wickit,, looks really good, the front fender was a little bit weird dots came in it, but i took a little brush and fixed them and went over with it again with the spray gun.

A couple questions
1) how long should i leave the paint to dry before put back on the bike

2)  How long till  I should give it a good waxing

3) any other things i should watch for???? The guy said no clear coat is he rite???

Thanks Jeff
Thanks for everyone's help.

i have never heard that you need it, i know that it will add depth to the paint if you put it on.  Depth as in how deep it actually looks not really the thickness so much.  clear is up to you.

doesnt it also matter what type of paint it is?  i've heard of 3 stage, 2 stage etc.

i sprayed enamel on my bike because of the gas tank being exposed to a drip or two of gas when you fill up, i didnt use enamel.  on my friends car he used laquer and he also used clear coat on it.  Laquer is easier to buff but enamel is alot tougher.  I dont know much about the 2 stage and 3 stage i think that might be pertaining to the primer then paint then clear.  I dont really know just a guess.  Ya but i think it will be good with no clear coat, that way you have less of a chance of making a mistake and the little extra money and time it takes to spray it.  But ya do whatever, your bike.  Peace

i think a 3 stage is primer, paint, clear. a 2 stage is primer, paint with clear.  the 2 stage is what maaco does.  the cheaper way.
