Track or street?  Long life or sport touring?  Full on sport?

Well...............I use a Bridgestone BT 020 in a 160/60 width.  It is sticky enough to get a knee down, but wears really well.  If you need stickier, there are lots of options including the BT 010, which is what I use on the front of the bike.

A lot of it has to do with personal experience and preferences.  A lot of other people would have different opinions which I can respect.

will BT 020 in 160/60 fit my gs without any modification to the rear brake arm? or do i have to go smaller?

also, what about pirelli diablo 150/60 or even 160/60?

Ive got a Metzler Z6 150/70 on my 4 inch rim.  Seems to be a decent tire so far, but its kind of hard to tell on the crappy roads I have right now.  Ive heard alot of good things about the Z6 tire.

Yes, you will have to use a brake arm from a GSXR.  A lot of years will fit.

I got mine off of e-bay for both bikes for under $20 @.
