Need Help!

ok I went to start my bike today and it didn't start.  So I took off mt tank to check the carbs, they were mice and clean and It was getting gas.  So I tried to start it again with the tank off , did not start. So then I covered up the air box filter hole with my hand and tried to start it BAM! it started, but as soon as I let go it stops and if I leave my hand on it, it stalls.  What could e the problem I'm going nuts tring to figure this out   :dunno:

You covered up the air box filter hole? I thought that alone would stop it from running. You should post this kind of topic in the General Discussion part of the forum. Problem sounds vacuum/carb related to me.

I tried with choke on and off no diff

cover the hole half way.  see what happens.  do u have any mods done to ur bike?

no still will not start unless I have compltly covered and no I have no mode...well I do have a K & N air filter lol

defective choke, bad plugs, clogged af? dunno :dunno:

I don't know how to check the choke to see if that may be it but the plugs are good, and the AF is clean.
