Frame Sliders / Engine Guards

Guys and Gals, Srinath is willing to making custom engine guards for our gs500s. They don't make them for the new models so Srinath is the only hope we got (I believe his guards also work for earlier models). I need them for my gs500, but he can only make them if there is an order of at least 20. So please reply to this post to let him know you are interested. I think he has made them before so he is completely legit. I'm sure he will reply to this post to describe exactly what he does, how they work, and the price. Come on make an order, we only need 20.

I'd buy some. Although a guy with the name Srinath sounds a little suspicious :mrgreen: can we trust such a mysterious character?

I would love a set of sliders only im pretty apprehensive about cutting the fairing to install them :x

Make that fifteen more to go. I'm thinking of maybe mounting some small driving lights if I can get around the electricals, I like taking long trips on my GS. (I enjoy pain!) Srianth has a good BBB rating, right? :lol:

No cutting anything ... not even for fitting frame sliders ... or 3 pointers ...

Hello... I've been lurking for a while, but this is a topic worthy of speaking up for!

I'd be interested in purchasing one as well, assuming I'm not having to refinance the house for it. Any word on how much it'll cost?

The target price is $50 for 2 pointers, $75 for 3 point and $10 for sliders ... which can be added to 2 or 3 pointers ... Of course steel is going up in $$$ so we wait too long and who knows ...

Where exactly are you mounting the sliders on an 04 or are you talking about a motor guard :dunno:

I am yet to make a case guard and cannot do so, the whole thing is going to be cut and bent by CNC laser and bending machines ... making one is going to be $$$ ... The sliders will go in a threaded insert to be put in the case guard ... I haven't cut the sliders either, and will do so after making the guards only ... else they may not fit. Honestly If you must see a pic ... wait for the second lot ... if there is one ... BTW i will not cash your check or take money if paypalled before these are in your hands ... by which time you wont need a pic. Making 1-2 ... is no way to get these made, cos these are going to have to be made sorta like mass production ... I made them by hand and sold 25 sets and no one has said they aren't good, and the next set is going to be much better ...

Need Sliders So please count me in. Possibly other guards too, but will have to talk to my friend and see how much he wants to spend right now on parts.

So, I'm interested in 3 point w/sliders and I'll send you a check if you say it is time. Trying to picture it in my head. Sounds like Mad Max meets the Starboyz. Whenever you need a check, just holla. I'm drop it in the mail.

I know it's been nary a day since this thread started, but perhaps making this sticky would help? I'm constantly monitoring this thread (yeah, I'm having a slow day), and I'm hoping these guards will get made. Besides, the keychains got a sticky... I mean come on. :lol:
