Did the search: 161 matches.  Dang.

I'm number 1.

If you solve your carb problem, come back and edit your post, telling us how you solved it. I think this will be a slightly easier way to compare notes  :)

Not sure what my problem is yet, but if it's the carbs I'll let everyone know. Now if only the weather holds up enough to get the valve adjustment finished up.

Dunno if I would count as problems since I purchased it this way.  I'll call it problems if I get it all back together and it doesn't work.  Till then it's just maintenance.

OK these carbs aren't complicated ... but waaay too many ham fisted knuckle heads out there ... even the simplest tasks are screw up able ...  In any case ... buy it with a problem ... that's normal ... you get a bike that is fine ... you're in the minority ...

Mine were fine all the way.  Just took a long time to warmup.  I rejetted when I thought that I had a carb problem and it turned out to be time to adjust the valves.  Glad I rejetted.  Warms up quicker and more low end grunt.

I broke the jet holder as I was attempting to rejet my carbs.  the jet holder ( Main Jet) is one of those parts that is not suppose to break.  Unless you do something dumb, like I did. the part is on back order with no ETA from Suzuki. I found carbs from a shop in the Bronx from a 2004.  I should have my bike up and running by tomorrow evening.

Word of advise: take your time, and don't be tired when working on your ride.

I'll let you know how it works out.

I think I finally got mine squared away, damn floats are a piss pour design.

The Buddha

Its not too bad ... its sensitive to air screw like you wont believe and in sensitive to float level ...   except in the opening throttle situation  essentially I prefer to set floats right where they should be and jet to adjust ... The tuning tips suggest the reverse ...  but an extra turn of mix screw or extra washer under needle instead of fiddling wiht floats is more reliable IMHO ... Yea for small changes yes ... If Your floats are 3mm+ off you're screwed ... You ahve to get that set first.
