A debate is going on in a motoring forum I visit here in the UK, it started following the death of a biker that was graphically captured on video. I can see both sides to this and have kept out of it, some may find it interesting despite the harrowing video.

That had to have sucked.
Don't know the rules in the UK but over here that would not fly and they where doing like 90 at the time.
I am not placing blame but he could have made better choices.
No matter the fault it's the family that gets the short end of the stick.

Wow.  It just amazes me how some guys ride on public roads.   Like you said, it is the family left behind that suffers.
On those days when life is a little too much and nothing seems to be going right, I pause for a moment to ponder the wise last words of my grandfather:  "I wonder where the mother bear is?"
