engine parts

i might have to rebuild my motor. what's the best places to get engine parts for a 91. i had an oil leak that went dry on a long trip. the motor will still turn over but it has a slapping sound in the top end. so it seem like it shouldn't cost too much but....you never know until you open the can. the suzuki shop charge an arm, leg and 10 mins with your girl if they can get a part you want. i need other sources for parts.  :dunno:

Once you get an idea of what you need, post a WTB thread over in the Buy/Sale/Trade section below the Forum Index. Twinners have lots of parts out here in Etherland. You may be able to help your case with giving us some geographical reference, i.e. what state you are in.

Yep, I'd open her up and see what needs to be replaced. I know I have quite a stock pile of extra parts, and other people probably have twice as much as me...
