just went shopping....i cna't find a big enough syringe...

is there another easier way to drain the fork oil without taking off the frontend?

I used a gas syphon and some rubber tubing to get the oil out.  

The best way is probably to take the tubes out and dump the fkuid--that way you can gett all the old oil out and also get most of the sediment out.  Takes aLOT more time, though

If i take off front end...front wheel, handlebars, triple clamps (upper and lower), gauges....EVERYTHIGN have to come off...

how long do you think it'll take?

Front wheel - YES
Handlebars - YES
Triple clamps - LOOSEN ONLY
Gauges -  :?  NO

After the wheel and fender are removed, the fork tubes will slide down out of the triples.  Work on one at a time.

damn folks, i really wanted to this yesterday cause i had time to do it yesterday, but Frost said that he had other things to do, damnit!

I didn't answer about the end caps because I went a different route.  (See the pictures in the Fork Spacers thread.)

But in that same thread shep_bannister confirmed that 1/2" Schedule 40 PVC end caps fit just right.  If that's what the diagram is then I'd say you're good to go.  :dunno:
