Well .. no ... mine was visibly side ways drifing at 35K ... I checked and it was .5 mm ... 1mm is thinnest shim they got for that ... and in 48K ... I never had it worn enough to be able to stuff that 1mm in it ... at 48K I got fed up and yanked off the caps A and C ... they needed helicoils anyway ... and welded up inside and ground it to be 1/2 mm thicker and ... whisper quiet ... OK not quite ... Like 15 mice scratching and hammering ... instead of the 25 I had before ... whoo hooo 40% reduction is hammering ... whooo hooo ...
