having a job climbing the bike to 160-170 kms

hey, I just got home from a long drive. I have no problem hitting 140, but really slow going up to 180. she's like totally dead in 6th gear. if im going 140 and shift to 6th you will see the needle like drop back. I dunno whats wrong please help guys.

My bike runs like that too.I get to 140 very easy and quickly but after that...I need to take it all the way to 9-10 rpm in 5th and then change it to 6th and it needs time to hit 170-175km.At least thats what speedo indicates.I don't know if anything is wrong,maybe it's just the thing that our bikes have only 40 or so hp. :dunno:

180 km/hr?  That is about 112 - or the bikes top speed.  Try installing a 15 tooth sprocket - your acceleration will pick up, top speed about the same.
