I am now the proud new owner of a Black 2005 Honda CBR600RR. I also got the rear seat cowl. (dad has a no person riding with me rule, also I think the cowl just looks sick.) I'm so excited.

I ended up paying about $8.6K total. I'm only financing $4.1K. I had to trade in the babyG, sorry guys. I'll still be here though. It got marked as perfect all the way through. I told them my bike was showroom quality but they didn't believe me. :nono:

We'll I am probably going to pick it up this weekend. I 'll have plenty of pics when I get it.

Well...it's about time. . Glad you were able to finally get a deal together and get it done. Be real careful with that new "switch-blade". Love the mighty Baby GS and this forum.

I like your choice of ride....

frame sliders. Get frame sliders. Install them yourself. its easy and I have a couple how-to's bookmarked (of course).

red, but only when the bike has ALL the stock plastic on, pantablo
going fast isnt the problem, its the crashing and burning that hurts

pantablo

are you suggesting my bike is slower on the track than on the street? :nana:

Nice, I like the bike.  I am about to pick up a streetfighterd 93 900rr.  I personally dont like hondas, I would rather have a kawasaki or suzuki.  But The new hondas look awesome.  Congrats on the bike.  Oh ya red is the fastest color.  Both my gs500's were.  But black does have a great look too.  It would either be red or black for me I cant decide.  black only if the wheels arent white.  Nice bike, me like.

The dealer was closing so that's why we didn't take it home. We're going to go finish the financing tomorrow and if the weather allows us or if we can find a truck to rent then we're going to take it home tomorrow.

No they aren't going to change any prices it's already set in stone.

I'm soo excited. It's so weird looking in the spot in my garage where my little blue GS used to be and see nothing. I think I'll be ok though.

Hey pantablo are there any kits for fenderectomies or do you have to chop it? I never chopped my GS fender. Also where can I get some frame sliders? Actually what are all the good links you have involving our CBRs? Thanks.

I'm not sure if there's one out for the 05 RR, but they make fender eliminator kits that you can put on instead of cutting the stock one up. Easier, and looks SHARP!

Hey Pantablo also black is faster. Well not black, but 2005 is. They fixed the midrange and shaved off about 5-10 lbs. Also I weigh 130lbs. I'm pretty sure you weigh more. So boo yah!!! hahaha just playing.

By the way I just got it delivered to my house. This thing is so f****** cool!!!! It revs to 5grand with a little tiny twitch of the throttle. Well I can't ride it for a week because we have rain all week. Atleast I can sit on it and rev it up. It even has a gas guage and a clock!!! Wow now I don't have to switch to reserve when I'm low on gas and I don't have to stop and look at my cell phone to see what time it is!!!  Hehe. The simplest things amaze me. Too damn exctied.

I'll be sure to post pics soon. They're going to be crappy garage pics though. I'll get better ones when it's nicer out.
