Thought that might get someones attention....I didn't think it would be you but it's all good. I have my second last exam today at 9am, it's in Fluid Mechanics Just thought you'd like to know, I can't believe I only have one more exam and I'm half through my Engineering Degree!

I just recently got my fluids final exam back from fall 2003.  I have the same prof for another class and out of the blue he hands me back my year and a half old final.  I got a 90, but I didn't think I did that well in that class :dunno: Back to work, got to finish a paper for his class that i'm in right now(combustion and air pollution).  To anyone else in college, good luck on your finals, I know I can't wait to be done with 'em wednesday

When I was in college (many moons ago) it was Thermo that gave me so much fits. But I got As in it along with all the other math classes. It seems funny but you do all that math in the different disciplines and then when you get out and specialize you wind up forgetting more than half the stuff you learned. As an automotive engineer I got to where I could do Trig in my head and it was like I spoke a second language. The Fluids and Thermo just fell by the way-side so to speak. Good luck with the classes and congrats on choosing a field that is wide open as far as employment opportunities. Love the Baby twin, Australia, and this forum.

Oh boy, it brings old memories back (like 30 years old)...

Wait till you get into hypersonic fluid dynamics, like re-entry vehicle design.  That's really fun.

Aced that fluids (and it was thermo that gave me heart ache last term) and elec that's scares me this term but I have it on friday so I have plenty of time to study and hopefully ace it. Good luck to everyone else in exams...the trick is not to fail...just between you, me and the rest of the board  ;)
