Is the bike (frame) the same from '02-04, and if so, can I install the fairing from the '04 onto my'02. what exactly will i need to do this?

Frame is the same, not sure if the older frames have the mounting holes there, you'll probably have to weld the brackets on. Also, for the front bracket located on the steering stem.

Ah yes, this is a question I asked on here once before. From what I have been told no one done it but, everyone says all you need to do is weld in the brackets...

After looking at options I think I'd rather buy that Brazilian fairing. Then again I have never been able to fine any reviews. It looks better though

I bought the fairings from srinath... and paying him to put the kit on my bike... I'll check back in a week or two.......

Where would one get the fairings, if Shrinath has exhausted his magical stash?  How much money is involved in just the parts?

spiderrider

you can order the 03-05 fairing from a suzuki dealer for about $500

It's more than that.  Also you need the head bracket and other brackets that go to the frame, along with inner fairing pieces, headlight, headlight bracket, etc etc etc

IMO you are better off finding a wrecked 04.  That way you only have to buy on side (the wrecked side) but you still have the brackets and tank (the tank is the biggest deal... $400+ from the dealer)
