I'm reminded of the story of the old lady two floors down in dad's apartment building in New York.  She inherited a large sum of money, and developed a phobia - she would not leave the room.

In fact, nothing ever left the room.  She had food delivered every morning, but no trash ever came out.  About 5 years after she moved in the landlord came to check out the place.  Total dump.  He was going to evict her until she offered to pay $10,000 a month in rent.  Landlord accepted, case closed.

Fast forward 45 years to 1985.  She's still there.  She doesn't answer the door for her morning food call for several days.  Finally the police are called.  What the found was just nasty.  The whole apartment was filled with trash.  So much trash that there were tunnels between the rooms.  They found her dead of old age in the living room.  They found newspapers in there from the 30's.

Garbage trucks were coming out of that joint for days.

dude i would be afraid to fall asleep in that thing you claim to be a room. get your lazy a$$ up away from the comp and clean that crap up. i can't believe you actually posted pics of that. i, myself would be way to ashamed to show that. if you are that lazy, get a cleaning person. although they may even be afraid of what else might be living in there. :guns:

Well, that's the truly weird part.  It didn't smell, and there were no rats.  She washed everything in the dishwasher before leaving it in the room.

well its not normally that messy, its just im so forgetfull and lose crap all the time so i turn my room upside down looking for it then get distracted from cleaning it.

Theres one thing i think is funny though, whenever someone has guests over they make everything spotless, even as far as carpet cleaning machine  :?

cleaning for a guest/guests is respectful
renovating for a guest is sorta like hiding the truth
