I miss my center stand!!!!   I cleaned the chain today, what a flipping nightmare!  It was clean, roll forward.  Clean, roll forward.  Clean, roll forward.   Ughh! I need a rear stand, ASAP

Hah, thats what I do anyway to clean and oil my chain because I am not strong enough to put the GS on the center stand by myself. <wuss> haha.

Center stand can be done by anyone. Its not strength, its grace.   Smoothly transfer all your weight to the center stand using one foot while lightly pulling up on the tail bar

my bike came with no center stand.  it looks a lot better w/o. i just lift it on top of a cinderblock.

What you need is one of these Rollastand Wheel Lifts from JC Whitney.  Ingenious idea -- put a tire on rollers so it has support but not tied down to the ground.

Next best thing to a center stand.
