Saddlebags and Turn Signal

I'm just full of questions lately :).

I am thinking of ordering the Motopak GTS-60 Saddlebags.  It measures 14" L x 11" H x 8.5" W (expands 3" to 11.5" W).  I'm just wondering if the bags might clash with my rear turn signal (stock).

Meanwhile I am waiting for my Avon AM52 to arrive... I should also reroute my battery vent hose.  Maybe also stick a cheap watch on so I can tell the time...

With the 11 inches high you may also find that you touch or are too close to the muffler.  Does anyone else have experience?

I'm pretty sure these are the ones I've got(too lazy to go out to the garage in the rain  ).Nice bags and for the price, they can't be beat. They used to sell them on eBay....hint,hint.You do have to put them very tight to the back blinkers and pay attention to where they are centered on the bike to avoid the dreaded melt from the stock exhaust.I haven't had them on since I got the V&H a few weeks ago.
Hope that helps?

Here are the dimensions for the Tour Master Cortech bags (see this Tour Master page):
    Length: 14.5"
    Width: 11"
Height: 8.5"[/list:u]The 7th photo on my
Installing Tourmaster Cortech Saddlebags & Tailbag page will give you an idea of how close the bags get to the exhaust pipe when they are cinched up to the highest reasonable height.

Those Moto Pak bags look pretty nice, especially for the price.  I like the look of the handles, and the fact that they are rectangular.  I guess most bags have the bottom front corner cut out to accommodate a passenger, but I have never had a passenger on the bag when I've used those bags.

The Cortech bags don't fully expand out from the bike, but then they're already 11" wide in that dimension.  Would I like them wider?  Hmmmm...maybe.  :dunno:   The encircling straps on the Moto Pak bags are the only aspect I might object to.
