i ran some statistical analyses of that fight.  it is my opinion that if they had a squad of 53 or more midgets, the outcome would have been reversed.

it is unfortunate that they did not take into account the voracity of the lion, as it relates to consumption of midget hemoglobin (Hbm).  it is common knowledge that the mutated Hbm molecules, when consumed, activate several secondary cascades which positively influence the psychosympathic drive of a mammal.

taking this into account, it is obvious that either the midget squad had to be larger, or the midgets themselves should have had their (h)BM for breakfast.
