anything after the original star wars movies remind me of the matrix.... i was very content with the first matrix and my imagination had fun guessing at what happened until they f*(#ed it up with their crappy endings.

note, for star wars they f*@#ed it up with their crappy beginings

Saw it last night better then the other 2 movies but Still a B grade movie but its good enough that when it comes time to sit down and watch them all it will be enjoyable but all in all Lord of the rings was a much better set of movies.
If your worried about it being bad do yourself a favour and go see Hitchhikers guide to the galaxy before it, after seeing that Star Wars will seem like a work of art with academy award winning acting HHGTTG was garbage having read the books, watched the orginal series to see the movie almost made me sick, WORST MOVIE EVER :x so in comparison Star Wars 1,2 and 3 are brilliant   :thumb:

Hey, where is the thumbs DOWN little icon?  All I see is a thumbs up!

Boring!  Almost fell asleep.  If not for the GORGEOUS special effects I'd give the movie a 1.  With them a 3.

I just don't really care for the story anymore.  Come on Lucas, you milked this franchise for 30 years!  Too long...

My advise, wait for the DVD and rent it.

I agree, Hitchikers guide was stupid.  I never read the books though.  BUT, as in Star Wars, the effects at the end, the planet factory looked sweet.

Yes, I watch movies to be entertained.  I want either a great, compelling story, OR fabulous visuals to awe me.

Revenge of the Sith was great.  I loved it.

I didn't really care for Anikan in Episode II, but Hayden matured so much and he was much better and it made me sad to see how that character turned out (even though I knew it was coming).

Yep, saw it last night too.  It was a home run, and the pinnicle and high watermark for this set of movies.  I felt somewhat let down by the first two, but not by this one at all.   :thumb:  :thumb:

I agree, saw it last night, outstanding, maybe the best so far. CG were amazing, this one really brought the whole series together.

WARNING: if you havent' seen the movie yet, you may not want to read this.

Man, the scene where Mace Windu was trying to kill Palpatine, and Anakin could either help Mace or Palpatine, the whole time I was hoping he would let Mace finish him off, but I knew he wouldn't. I was so let down that Palpatine won, and kept thinking, "If only he knew what would happen because of this", and felt genuinely bad even though it's just a movie, and it didn't matter at all! That's how much I love Star Wars.

I thought it was cool, EXCEPT for one part....the obligatory "Noooo-oooooooo!" screamed by the
rehabilitated Darth Vader. My girlfriend and I were the only ones laughing our asses off.
Not because of what happened that made him bellow, but the scream itself was just so...cliche.
It's a parody in most films now. I can't believe they put that in, and were actually serious about it.

indestructibleman

that whole scene, with the Frankenstein homage, was a little much for me.

i also love the part with "i love you like a brother, but now, instead of putting you out of your misery with my lightsabre, i'm going to watch you BURN."
"My center has collapsed. My right flank is weakening. Situation excellent. I am attacking."
