Looked a lot like Kerry's bike (yellow, naked, big windshield, saddle bags) cruising up Lindero Canyon Road.  Anyone here?

I also saw a black one (2002?) in Newbury Park several weeks ago.

I'm conjecturing, but it could have been Twowheeleddreams from BayAreaRidersForum.com.
The motorcycle is no longer the hobby, the skill has become the hobby.

Power does not compare to skill.  What good is power without the skill to use it?
