Nice ride...

Today I took part in the 'Mayor's Ride' in Terre Haute, Indiana.  While it was mostly HD's, there were a few metric bikes to be found.  Anyway, for $10, I rode with hundreds of other bikes.  We were two wide, and in the straits the bikes extended as far as I could see ahead of me and behind me.  It was a neat experience.  The ride was capped off with a run down the main air strip at the Terre Haute International Airport.  I hit around 120 - 125, blew by all the Harley's, and it was 100% legal.  It was cool, spectators, police escorts, and balls out speed.  All in all, a pretty cool ride!



This pic was of 1/2 of one of the three FULL parking lots of participants.  It was impressive.  I would have taken pictures of them all, but as luck would have it, the batteries in my digital camera went dead after taking the first pic.
