Hey you guys,
I've noticed that on my new (1994) :) gs after riding a bit at higher rpms(highway or street speed) it takes time for the rpms to come down when i come to a stop. It automatically comes down to 3k and then after 30 seconds it slowly goes down to 1.5K. I'm trying to see if this is normal or not. It does come down all the way eventally, but with just takes like 20-30 seconds after i come to a stop. If i rev the throttle after it has come down..it does come back down all the way to 1.5K; its just after riding at higher rpms that it sticks.

I'm running some carb cleaner through the tank as we speak and i'll see if that changes anything. The gas tank does have the begginings of rust but its not flakey or at all severe so i doubt its that.

Any ideas.
Peace
