Blunders of the day

First, I noticed I had the carb bowls on backwards. As you can see, the drain screws are kinda hard to get at.


Then I saw the breather hose coming off the cylinder head was spitting onto my new k&n filter, discoloring it and probably taking off the oil.


Just some things to watch out for, if you're a bone head like me.

you know they make a k&n filter to go on there, 5 bucks I'll ship it to you. and also it works better if you find a longer hose that goes over the motor down to the ground and then everything stays clean.

why not run it where the airbox drain hose exits..?

no, the fuel filter idea was nice, now stick another hose on that and let it drip on the chain, you now have a  automatic oiler
