o/t: anyone own a toyota tacoma?

i'm about to purchase one and have been trying to find out what the stock speaker size is for the door speakers on a '97...looking to do some stereo mods

You can get custom kick panels for the Tacoma so pretty much any component speaker will fit.  Mine is an '87 so I had to "be creative" making the panels work but they do

Stock location on mine are in the left and right side of the lower dash

My 2001 only came with door speakers, but I located the rear speaker wires and plugged in a couple small speakers behind the seat.  Sounded much better with 4 speakers.  It was cool Toyota used the same stereo in the Tacoma as in other cars that use 4 speakers.
