normally they are the worst for service in the valley so i went there last, and they filled my rear shock for free. i just had to wait a half hour for the guy to get back from lunch.

btw the suz shop was charging 15 bucks and the first apt wasn't untill sat.
the honda shop dosn't do anything with nitrogen, for insurance reasons, so they tell you to go over to bills motorcycles plus, he's the husky dealer, but he told me that his fitting probably whouldn't fit unless i took the shock out.

The price is right.  So what did they want OTD for a new zx6R

RUN RUN FROM CYCLE SPORTS!!!!

There are MANY threads on sportbikes.ws regarding them.
I have yet to hear a positive thing, out of at least 40 different threads.

Them filling the shock for free is cool, the one and only positive thing I have heard.

John, seriously, slap yourself. your done with the 6r's it's time for a 750.  yeah Dragonfly, I lurk there once in a while,  this has been the first time I had a positive experience there at that dealer since I got out of  the cream corn last fall.  they started moving about april? or so,  without any outside help, and now they are at about half the manpower that they should be.  so time is relative there.  I haven't ever heard of them doing shoddy work, or anything else just being really slow.

oh yeah, the horror stories, that I have heard in the salem area have all been from cycle country the local suz dealer.  my experience with them has been long waits ans shitty attidudes when I go in there, one time the guy lied and siad he had a faceshield for my lid when i called but when I got there it was gone, imigine that.

On another board, I got into a spat with a salesman about supporting your local dealers.  If you're not getting the service and prices you expect, screw them and go elsewhere.  My 'local' Suzuki dealer had some moron behind the parts counter that didn't even know what a GS was.  Of course, no parts were in stock for my bike.  They just downsized their motorcycle dept to make room for another car showroom :P And even if you find a piece of gear that fits you, it's never the item you want and it's way overpriced.  They have to order it anyways, so why not do it yourself!

Hopefully I'll never run into a problem that I need a dealer to solve.  I'll see if an independent bike shop can do the tough things, otherwise it's the internet and my own wrench for me!
