WHERE CAN I FIND ONE OF THESE??? I've been looking all day, i've caleld vance and hines, parts unlimited, and a few local dealers no go! These fit the 05s from what I know and I want one, where can i get it??? PLEASE HELP! THanks!

They haven't been manufactured for a while, so if you can find one, consider yourself very lucky and be prepared to shell out the dough ($100+, i think but could be wrong)

An alternitive is to follow this tutorial for DIY ignition advancement.

One of our members was modifying ignition rotors, but I believe he is having technical difficulties at the moment, so I'm not sure if he is offering to do so right now.

Damn that hard to get. Wish I could get one, id drop that cash probably on a new one, but someone has to have it in inventory somewhere. No other comapny makes one??? I really dont want to do it myself. Rather have a nice part for it!

If you've found an ignition advancer that will fit the '05 (and presumably the '04) then LOTS of folks would love to know how to get one.

The older advancers will not work on '04+ models.  This post and the rest of the thread will help explain why that is.

Yeah if you find something out I would like to know.  Kerry hit it right on the mark the 04 and 05 have a different ignition system.  The european rotor has more advnace than the US version....if i could find one of those it would be great to.
04 GS 500F:  Katana Shock, aftermarket turn signals, clear brake light, fenderectomy, srinath SM type bars, Corbin tail bag, re- jetted (147.5, 65, 22.5), Wileyco Muff w/srinath flange, and K&N Lunchbox

I did some researcg that is the part number for the older gs500's.  V &amp; H no longer manke it from what I have been told.

how do we get a hold of the european advancers than? And how many degrees is it?, please say 4!
