Brake light doesn't turn on, only when rear brake is tapped?

Hey There,
I just realized today that my brake light doesn't turn on when i hit the front brakes, only when i hit the rear brakes? Ihave no idea why this is happening as i just bought the bike.

Any Ideas???

there are two wires that are connected on the underside of the brake lever

take them off then put them back on

you might have a little corrosion on the contact points

that usually works for me

That must be it..because i couldve sworn the thing turned on a few days ago. I checked tonight and it wasn't turning on. I'll check that first thing tommorow.
